Frighteningly good Seawork rates spookily extended until Halloween

Last chance for discounted rates for Seawork 2018!   The Early Bird booking rates offer a great reduction on the standard exhibitor fees and have been extended until 31st October 2017.
So far, the venue is already 65% booked, with a large quayside stand booked this week for a new exhibitor to Seawork - Manor Renewable Energy – who provide bespoke engineering solutions to support the development, construction and maintenance of wind, wave and tidal projects.
To date, the Quayside stand space is already over 70% sold. For the last 20 years Seawork International has delivered a unique on-shore and on-water commercial marine trade exhibition.
The pontoon spaces are being snapped up with a new booking for a 24m vessel from Manor Marine - who manufacture and repair steel and aluminium vessels up to 45m - joining the many vessels already confirmed.
Fantastic sponsorship opportunities are still available to display your company logo throughout the exhibition with a wide range of sponsorship packa…

Pontoon & Dock introduce Floating Café for Seawork 2018!

Image
The Pontoon & Dock Company Ltd, leaders in the supply and installation of quality marina equipment are pleased to announce the addition of a floating café on their EZ Dock pontoon at Seawork 2018. The patented floatation design of the EZ Dock pontoon provides more stability than traditional floating structures making it the ideal place to host a café. Visitors will have the chance to get a drink and relax on the stand whilst still on the water.

The floating café will be running alongside two other exhibits from Pontoon & Dock including an AirBerth M320 - a boat lift storage system that allows boat owners to safely store their boat out of the water, and a stand situated on the quayside displaying Roodberg boat handling equipment.
Chris Moss, the Business Manager from Pontoon and Dock, said “This is an excellent chance for people to see how safe and stable the EZ Dock system is. Hopefully this will show how companies can utilise space on the water as a commercial extension of th…

Sensor Alliance: A Seawork Networking Success Story

Image
Seawork 2017 exhibitors Reygar and Gill Sensors & Controls have formed a strategic partnership where Gill’s extensive range of specialist sensors can be integrated into Reygar’s BareFLEET fleet monitoring system.

While electronic system and sensor integration does not happen overnight and the deal has only recently been announced, it’s early seeds were sown at Seawork 2017. Reygar won a European Commercial Marine Industry Award at Seawork 2017 for its BareFLEET solution and also used the event to network with Trevor Pearson of Gill Sensors who was also an entrant for the same award.
BareFLEET gathers comprehensive vessel data on engine health and performance, fuel economy, heave motion, vibration, structural loading and turbine transfer activity amongst other parameters. Concise daily reports present this information remotely to fleet operators and their customers in a simple, easy to understand format across their entire fleet. BareFLEET was launched at Seawork 2017 where it was en…

Calling all innovative boatbuilders

Calling all innovative boatbuilders
If you’re in the boatbuilding business and don’t think your vessel is the most innovative in your part of the market, then you’re probably in the wrong game.
In my capacity as Chairman of the Judging panel for the European Commercial Marine Industry Awards at Seawork International 2017, I was struck by equipment entered and the quality and vast range that it encompassed.
BUT, I must confess my only disappointment with the entries, and it was a disappointment shared by the other panel members, was a limited number of vessels for us to evaluate for these awards.
A stroll along the pontoons at the show demonstrated straight away though that there is no lack of innovative vessels, or vessels with clearly amazing and innovative aspects to them, so we’ve obviously not done our job correctly in telling boatbuilders about this award. Or at least we’ve not made you excited enough about it to enter.
This is a genuine, well-respected industry award. But we live…
